One of the Pregnancy Pains

On Monday, I started having really bad pains that reminded me of the pain I had before I had my gall bladder removed. I was really nervous because the pains were sharp and painful. I felt like I couldn't move. I ended up having to call the doctor. I found out that the pain was Round Ligament Pain. This pain is common in pregnancy especially if you grow in size quickly which Baby Cunigan decided to do.

23 Weeks

It's funny because last week, I thought the baby just didn't like exercise because I was having a lot of pressure on my right size. It turns out it wasn't even the baby. It was actual pain that I needed to be aware of. To deal with the pain, I ordered a maternity support belt. Now I just have to figure out how to work it!

Baby Cunigan's Nursery

Since we are having a boy, we decided our nursery would be a Nautical Theme. We are so excited. Kris and I both love the beach and designs that are associated in beach houses. We are hoping our little boy feels the same joy we feel when we go to the beach.

We decided on a random Thursday night (April 21) to shop for Nautical art work because Hobby Lobby was having 50% off. We couldn't pass up the deals. We thought we would get just a few pieces but Kris and I pretty much bought all the artwork we will need for the Nursery.

On Saturday, April 23rd we decided to update our registries with boy items. When we were at Babies R Us, Kris found a dresser that was on sale for $150. The dresser was normally $650. We couldn't pass up the deal either. We ended up getting the baby dresser for the nursery. It was entertaining to watch Kris and his friend Taylor get it up in the nursery. I enjoyed directing :)

Baby Bucket List Item #1

I started a baby bucket list of things I would like to do before having Baby Cunigan. One of the things on my list was to have a girls night! Two of my friends, Saren and Christina, joined me in a night of good food and fun in Westport. We didn't end up dancing but we still got to be out with the crowds and even eat donuts.

It is so funny though because when we were people watching all I could think about was what my (Kris and I's) son will be like when he is older. My mommy instincts starting setting in. It was still a nice night to get out.

Kansas City Gender Reveal

Kris and I also had a Kansas City Gender Reveal party so we could celebrate with our friends. We had a party at Pizzabella since my top craving is pizza. At this reveal, we used eggs and filled them with blue glitter for the reveal. 

We were able to enjoy a nice night celebrating with friends. Most of our friends thought we were having a boy so it was no shock when we revealed that Baby Cunigan was a boy!
