Fit Mom

My goal as soon as I found out I was pregnant was to be as active as possible. I found out real quickly that exercise while being pregnant is way harder than regular exercise. At first, my goal was to exercise at least 3 times a week. That seemed reasonable since I was exercising at least 5 days a week prior. I soon found that my energy level was really low. Making it 40 hours a week for work was all I could manage.

I still tried to work out occasionally. I attempted to go on a bike ride and fell off the bike. (Balance is not the same in pregnancy.) Then I tried running since I had been. My legs didn't handle it as well and I sprain my ankle. I felt defeated and then embraced that walking was going to be my best exercise.

Then I got to opportunity to work out with my New Moms group. We tried a Fit Mom class. It was challenging but so worth it because I was able to keep up and feel great after. I have learned any exercise as little as it is is better than nothing.
