Time goes so quickly with a little one! Christmas came and went before I could even think about it. This year's Christmas was very special though. It was Sammy's first!
For Sammy's first Christmas, we celebrated at Nana and Pappaw's house. His first Christmas was magical even if our trip was adventurous.
I personally have always loved Christmas but as Sammy gets older I think I will grow to love it more. I'm usually the one who loves presents but this year the focus was Sammy!
At Nana's house, we always celebrate on Christmas eve so then we can celebrate her actual birthday on Christmas day. We started a little later than normal, 7 pm. Everyone was focused on Sammy. We had to set 15 minute timers so everyone got a chance to hold Sammy!
As a mom, I love to see others love my son! Even if it means I have to share my snuggle time:)
Sammy got his spotlight moment where he (kris and I) opened his gifts. He got clothes, a Clifford dog and book, a cow toy, a talking dog, a snowman, and a crocheted cow outfit. He loved the attention and he did so well.
Sammy's excitement continued the next day as he received his first Santa Claus gifts. He also received his Christmas gifts from Nani and Grandpa. I think he enjoyed the attention and all the fun new toys!
Highlights from the trip: Pappaw swinging Sammy on the front porch swing, Nana singing to Sammy, getting two date nights where his Nani and grandpa watched him and Kristie and Kali worked with him on his "strength ", Everyone loving on Sammy
